Alpha Omega Homeschooling
The Alpha Omega homeschooling system stems from a decision to make more high quality educational materials available that have a Christian base to their learning systems. Originally, beginning in 1977, this was done to help families, Christian schools and bookstores to use more educational materials that used a Christian curriculum as their base. They began with a simple idea; to provide high quality educational materials and as their client base grew and wanted more they increased their modest early offerings to include six different brands that help to satisfy Christian educational needs.  You can order their products from hundreds of homeschooling websites or directly from their own website.  They even have a unique service where you can visit an interactive demo to learn more about what they have to offer. If this does not answer all of your questions then use their chat room to get help directly from one of their team of customer service operators.

The idea at Alpha Omega homeschooling publishers is the strong belief in the Old and New Testaments.  They believe in Jesus being the son of God and that those who believe strongly in Christ and the Christian religions are truly the children of God. Their website outlines these beliefs further showing how strong they are. If you are going to use their materials you should understand what the basis of them is.
Each of their brand lines offer something a little different. These include the Horizons, LIFEPAC®, Switched-On Schoolhouse®, Alpha Omega Academy®, Power-Glide and The Weaver Curriculum®.  The Horizons publications begin with lessons for preschoolers and go to grade twelve. They have materials for math and the essence of a language arts program with heavy leanings on phonics, spelling, reading and vocabulary. LIFEPAC® begins with kindergarten and teaches a variety of subjects which include the five core subjects that they stress; math, bible studies, language arts, science, geography and history.  As well, this type has special workbooks, which have complete programs in them. They have the lessons and then the questions that need to be answered with each lesson. They also have reviews, lab activities, project suggestions and tests. They are complete units themselves making it easy for a teacher to know exactly where a student is as they progress through each lesson.

The Weaver package is strictly a biblically integrated program of study that uses the scriptures to teach the core subjects from kindergarten to grade twelve.  Power Glide is designed to teach a second language with an interesting twist. The language is taught through a series of adventure stories. The languages available include Spanish, German, Latin, French and English for those whose first language is Spanish.

The Alpha Omega Homeschooling publications are complete enough that you need not look elsewhere to be able to homeschool your children.  They come with the lessons, the teacher’s answers and tests. But, if you are not a Christian or are not looking for a program that is not strongly religious in nature these people are not for you. There are many other homeschooling publications that you can try. Though if you want a program to help instill a Christian education for your children you need look no further.
