The idea at Alpha Omega homeschooling publishers is the strong belief in the Old and New Testaments. They believe in Jesus being the son of God and that those who believe strongly in Christ and the Christian religions are truly the children of God. Each of their brand lines offer something a little different. These include the Horizons, LIFEPAC®, Switched-On Schoolhouse®, Alpha Omega Academy®, Power-Glide and The Weaver Curriculum®. The Horizons publications begin with lessons for preschoolers and go to grade twelve. They have materials for math and the essence of a language arts program with heavy leanings on phonics, spelling, reading and vocabulary. LIFEPAC® begins with kindergarten and teaches a variety of subjects which include the five core subjects that they stress; math, bible studies, language arts, science, geography and history. Power Glide is designed to teach a second language with an interesting twist. The language is taught through a series of adventure stories. The Alpha Omega Homeschooling publications are complete enough that you need not look elsewhere to be able to homeschool your children. They come with the lessons, the teacher’s answers and tests.
